Later he moved to live in Madrid, where in parallel to these exhibition activities he enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts (Complutense University of Madrid), graduating in the specialty of Engraving.
Juan Fernández is an artist forged in the figurative tradition, a painter who finds his subject matter in the observance of the world around him.[2] His painting transmits a close realism. In his paintings of water, reflections, fountains or urban landscapes there is also a subjective reality. Careful strokes and rigorous drawing define his style, in which light and color are a fundamental part.
