The reading and writing process is influenced by motor development and learning, both aspects are in continuous evolution and linked to the correct integral development of the human being and therein lies the importance of deepening its study.
The aim is to evaluate the different variables associated with motor development and the reading-writing process measured by means of physical tests of basic motor skills, neurotrophic and vestibular patterns, as well as reading, writing and reading comprehension processes. Likewise, the aim is to explore the relationship between the different variables under study in a sample of 46 primary school students from the CEIP El Grau in Valencia.

Sensory processing (SP) is the neurological capacity to register, organize and make sense of the information received by our brain through the sensory systems (visual, auditory, gustatory, olfactory, tactile, proprioceptive and vestibular). To date, the available evidence on the prevalence of sensory processing difficulties in the general child population is still scarce. Given the relevance of the possible consequences of these problems for children’s health, the InTeO Group decided to carry out the InProS (Infancy and Sensory Processing) project.

Actualmente, estamos llevando a cabo multitud de proyectos de intervención en centros tan diferentes como el Centre Penitenciari Can Brians, el Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, el Hospital Vall d’Hebron, la Prisión de Belmarsh en Londres, la Asociación Catalana de Enfermos de Parkinson, Aldeas Infantiles SOS Tenerife, ASPACE, etc.
Puedes ver en el siguiente mapa todas las instituciones con las que colaboramos o hemos colaborado. Son más de 240 centros en los que los alumnos del Máster en Arteterapia realizan o han realizado sus prácticas clínicas.
Los alumnos llevan a cabo diversos proyectos de intervención a lo largo de sus prácticas clínicas y seguimos colaborando con cada centro para que los futuros alumnos de arteterapia también puedan hacerlo. Durante su formación, los estudiantes de máster (en su mayoría mujeres) realizan 600 horas de prácticas supervisadas por personal especializado. Los tratamientos individuales y de grupo se ofrecen en sesiones semanales y pueden ser de corta o larga duración (hasta dos años).
